Most of our students are interested in working in a salon. This field extends far beyond that limit. For some people, the hair or barber-stylist may be one of the few to touch a person physically and emotionally. Therefore, it is understandable that the Cosmetology field is viewed as a truly caring one. It gives you a chance to make the world more beautiful through talent and touch. At Roman Academy we instill the necessary all-around training needed for success as a stylist or one of the many other positions available once we prepare you for your successful state board licensing. For those of you interested in a creative business environment, this is a perfect chance to master newfound abilities.

Cosmetology allows the opportunity to grow as an individual as well as provide a full time or supplemental income, whenever needed. It is imperative to develop professional proficiency in a field of your choice allowing one to live a comfortable lifestyle.  We say, “What can be more satisfying than a career that can earn excellent income as well as a creative gratification at the same time?” Roman Academy has been preparing students for successful state licensing since 1962. Most of our instructors are former graduates. This makes for a strong continuity of instruction and management techniques.

The Roman Academy is open continuously from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.- 4 days a week. Our evening hours are from 5:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. four nights per week - Monday through Thursday, all through the year. The Academy closes only on important holidays that occur during the week, such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and we also close 1 week for Winter Holiday. Roman Academy is also closed on Fridays

There are innumerable Cosmetology Schools in the area.
